Well it's been a busy couple of weeks for me! Support letters have been sent out, and I'm brainstorming more ideas for fundraising. The checks have started coming in...which excites this college student! Envelopes with checks = MAIL!!!! Mail is exciting for any college student...unless it's bills. Those are less exciting. But envelopes with money in them? Those are extra exciting! :)
Another exciting thing that happened this week is the purchase of my plane ticket! I feel pretty official now! Just working out the details of the trip while trying to balance my classes, homework, and extracurricular activities. Next weekend I'm hoping to find a few spare moments to begin reading some books about Project Rescue and India, so I'll update you on my research as I read.
